The Funding Cycle…
WILD Studios was set up as an off-shoot of Project: WILD C.I.C., a not-for-profit dedicated to running nature based community projects, so we’ve written many a funding bid in our time and consistently receive over 70% of the funding we apply for (almost half a million pounds to date). So like you, we are all familiar with the funding cycle! You have a good idea, write a bid, secure the funding (sometimes!), run an awesome project, evaluate, and repeat… the usual grind of grant funded VCSE working. But what is less usual is actually including a realistic budget for marketing to produce high quality content that truly captures the impact of your work, demonstrates the need for your projects development or continuation, and makes your project delivery and evaluation visible and exciting to funders.
